The Red Eye Team circled back for round 2 of Jubilee, the holiday fundraiser event highlighting the elements of the Black Image Center including live portraits, sponsored bar and live musical performances.
We connected with a new set of neighboring small businesses for food, Our Red Eye favorites JuneShine and Golden Rule Spirits for the bar and of course local creatives for music and portraits.
Background
The Black Image Center serves as a cultural hub for black and brown artists, photographers and LA creatives. The founders Maya, Kalena and Simone truly know how to curate fine art into an approachable space built around creativity, community, learning and mutual support. As our relationship developed in 2024 we felt it was only right to commemorate the successful year for them by curating Jubilee again highlighting some of the great achievements of the year and the non profit as a whole.
The Solution
Red Eye helped create an evening event this time around curated towards the prime audience of the non profit. We featured some of their favorite dj’s and, new photo portrait set up and brought some of the previous activations back like the raffle, polaroid activity and more. It was a true testament to the growth of the center and gave them a recurring event their audience can look forward to.
